Andy Hart commenced his career in the Valuation Office, where for nine years he dealt with all forms of commercial, industrial and retail property, including Government and Health Authority estates, for taxation, compensation and business rate purposes, the latter involving the presentation of evidence before the Valuation Tribunal.

Now dealing with issues on a national basis, since joining the firm in 1987; he has extended this expertise into the field of landlord and tenant legislation, advising a wide range of clients in all aspects relating to rent reviews and lease renewal proceedings.

He has also been successful in pursuing business rate appeals on behalf of national and local clients, particularly in relation to retail and licensed premises.

Clients are also able to benefit from his extensive experience of providing valuation reports for all forms of non-domestic property, both for regulated purposes, such as pension funds, or inclusion with company financial statements and for acquisition and secured lending in accordance with the protocols of the British Banking Association.
